Yeah…

So, am moving offices and will no longer have my back to the wall. Will only be able to check out DA about once a week. I used to use office time to produce background renders – no longer possible… Don't know when I'll get around to producing more work, but maybe a break from DA is good for me. 

So my friends; keep tickling the pixels, polishing the renders and flicking the paint.

This is the first of a series (and my first ever) comic book. I was commissioned by femdomcave.com to produce a 16 page adult strip and given the free reign to develop all the ideas and characters myself. The setting is an island facility where (as the cover says), bad boys are kept in line by a kick-ass crew of women. In this first episode an inmate (a trustee at that), kills his secret lover, a guard called Tab. The Governor sends Vee and a hand-picked team out to hunt the man town old school. He cannot be tracked by GPS as for some reason his electronic tag has ceased to transmit data. Something's wrong, very wrong...

Had no time before Christmas to work on my project - found some paid work and had to make that a priority. Back to it now and you'll see a couple of images I have produced where the girls are on the track of an escapee who has murdered one of their crew. The chief has told Vee and her team to go old school (and enjoy hunting the MF down), as the escapee has ripped out his own tracking chip and can't be tracked electronically. The scenes are set at an old quarry yard where the women sometimes go when off duty to bathe. On this occasion however, they think the man is hiding out here. As far as they know he's not armed, but he is dangerous, so are cautiously looking around. In one of the images Princess has caught sight of something in the waterfall below, something is glittering and moving slightly...

I've finally hit upon the graphic styling I want for The Facility. I'm going to go for an illustrated/editorial, rather than super-real look. I was getting hung up with the detailing if the architecture etc, etc, and I really wanted to focus on the story. So... the images will be dramatic, and use backgrounds for sure, but they will be knocked back almost to white, unless they are relevant to the narrative - phew!
